      Hi xmarijaax
I’m not sure of the answer, but I’ll have a guess based on my own experience…..eyes seem to grow the most in babies before they are born. When they are born they do seem to have eyes that are ‘too big’ for them, which is why they look so cute. They do seem to get bigger as children grow and then from around the age of 7 they seem to have reached their grown up size. The reasons behind this will be genetic and evolution and the fact that they don’t need to be any bigger.

It’s not true. Our eyes do grow, just like all the other parts of our bodies. Once we’ve reached our adult size, however, they stop. Our heads and eyes probably stop growing before some of our other body parts, so maybe that is what people mean when they say our eyes don’t grow.
