Lots of fun. I think I’m really lucky to have a job that lets me do so many things that I enjoy doing. The best bit of all are the problem-solving parts. I also do some management stuff to help with the running of the European Bioinformatics Institute (http://www.ebi.ac.uk) where I work, and I have to admit I quite enjoy that too — I guess I like bossing people around…

Loads of fun. A bit of a rollercoaster sometimes, but ultimately I’m a job that I love and want to do, so in a sense I’m not really working.

It’s a tough job sometimes with a fair bit of pressure ar times. However, it is something I really enjoy and the people I work with can be great fun. We have some really silly moments on occasion which involve nerf guns!

      Hi @space4me
I think it is really important to do a job that you enjoy, or else what’s the point? The best bit of my job was working with a film maker to create 10 short films that describe ethics and genetics. I got everyone in our lab to become actors and pretend to be doctors, see the films here: http://www.genomethics.org
