      Poverty. I honestly think that existance of poverty in this day and age is something that humanity, as a whole, should be ashamed of and should be doing more to end.

      Better education for everyone, particularly in maths and in understanding how science is done.

      The one thing I’d want to change is the human capacity for intolerance. Not being able to manage diversity and difference is a big problem for mankind and the source of many problems.

      I would give everyone in the world enough money to live on so that everyone then had the privilege of deciding what they wanted to do with their life. And make jobs that nobody wanted to do (picking up rubbish, cleaning toilets) really well paid so that people doing them felt valued.

      My reason for saying that is that it should lead to people being better educated because they would have time and resources to get an education. And it would hopefully decrease prejudice, because everyone would get the same pay just for existing.
