• Question: I'm puzzled of how jellyfish reproduce how do they ?

      Jellyfish are really cool! They can reproduce by budding bits off themselves (asexually) or by releasing sperm and eggs into the water (sexual reproduction). The confusing part is that different species of jellyfish do this at different times in their life cycle and not all in the same way. But often the adults release eggs and sperm which fuse to form baby jellyfish that are called polyps. The polyps settle on the sea floor and can bud new polyps off themselves. Polyps feed and grow and when they’re big enough they can swim off.

      I haven’t studied this for years, though, so I’m sure if you search online you will find way more detail and fun facts!
