1 Question: Is ectoplasm (Cornflour + water) a solid or liquid? As it is a solid when you pick it up but it runs through my fingers after a second. I never heard it called “ectoplasm” before! But this is a famous “non-Newtonian” liquid. Technically it *is* a liquid, but it acts solid when you hit it suddenly. I’ve seen lots of good examples: here are some links:
