Under the Dome is sort of a psychology horror type book where it portrays the situations and choices of victims kept isolated from the outside world because they are under an unbreakable dome. I found this novel very interesting and really opens your eyes to society in modern age. They have created a TV series on it but I highly prefer and recommend the book
That sound fascinating, I’ll check it out. I’m into Danish drama at the moment – Borgen and The Killing are my favourites. If you like reading about the interface between biology and science have you tried The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot? http://rebeccaskloot.com/the-immortal-life/
This is an incredible book about a Black woman whose cells were taken without consent and went on to become one of the most important cell lines for genetic research. The book is also about to become a film. It’s really easy to read and I couldn’t put it down.
I give that book a look, thank you for the recommendation. At the moment, me and my English class are doing a book called Animal Farm. It is all about animals taking over the farm from the humans and they start forwarding antidisestablishmentarianism (biggest word in the Oxford dictionary) and dictatorship. It is basically a metaphor for politics today. It’s by George Orwell.
