@neolaco143 Many things inspire me but the biggest thing is asking people how they want to use genetic technology and then using their answers to change the way genetic technology is delivered. This is a great feeling that I’ve made a difference to real people.

What inspires me is that on any day I may make a new discovery that will help other scientists or make a difference to one of the patients whose data I’m analysing.

Basically, I’m a big nerd and I get bored easily so I like having a job where I get paid to muck around and solve problems and where other people get the excitement of being able to work out how to model and investigate a problem.

I look around and see how much science and technology have changed the world and improved our quality of life. This is what inspires me to try and make my own modest constribution to human knowledge.
