Question: What is the future of robotics in medicine?

I’m afraid this isn’t my area so I don’t really know what to say. There seems to be some really exciting progress in terms of linking robotics to the neural pathways in the brain, so that you can ‘think’ your hand to move and a robotic hand moves. But, this is just what I have seen in the media so you’d need to ask someone who works in robotics for a more accurate idea.
