• Question: Why are we humans warm blooded?

      I’m not sure there’s really a reason *why* we are warm-blooded, other than that our ancestors were, because both warm and cold-blooded animals exist today and both survive just fine. But it’s possible that warm-bloodedness evolved because warm-blooded animals don’t rely on heat from the sun and can be active throughout most of the day, while cold-blooded ones (like lizards) need to sit around for hours, soaking up the sun.
