• Question: will you ever get bored with science?

      I don’t think I will. There is just so much science out there that I could spend several lifetimes learning about it and still only be scratching the surface.

      I don’t think I’ll ever get bored. In terms of life, I’m not really motivated by money or material things but I am definitely motivated by how things work and how people communicate. Working in science and indeed social science (which is my area) is very fulfilling and there is always something new to learn.

      I’m not bored with science, but an awful lot of what I do day to day is quite boring–installing software or finding out why some computer code isn’t working. It helps me to remember the bigger goal of what I’m studying, which definitely isn’t boring!
